The first information about this castle dates from 1352. After 1553, a major reconstruction took place, and the castle turned into a Renaissance palace. The Italian masters worked, in the reconstruction, and it was completed in 1613. From 1623, the castle passed into the hands of the Lobkowicz family. It was damaged, in the Thirty Years´ War, and was again repaired. In 1945, the palace was nationalized and, in 1989, it returned back to the property of the Lobkowicz family. During our visit, we will see how the aristocratic family lived, in the palace, in the Czech countryside. Inside the palace, we can admire furniture, paintings, plasters, library, trophies, weapons collection, gallery of family portraits, among other things.
